Career Moves is a dynamic and engaging broadcast designed specifically for Rider students, providing them with valuable insights, advice, and inspiration for informed career decisions and readiness. This show will also emphasize critical technical and overall competencies that every college should master such as Critical Thinking and Problem Solving – Time Management and Organization – Research and Information Literacy – Collaboration and Teamwork – Adaptability and Resilience–Self-Care and Well-Being – Digital Literacy and Technology Skills – Communication Skills among other topics. Tune in to Career Moves every Saturday at 11 a.m. only on 107.7 The Bronc, featuring an all new episode every second Saturday of the month! 

Career Moves will feature in-depth interviews with Rider community and industry professionals and alumni from various industries, who will share their personal career journeys, including the challenges they faced, pivotal moments, and key decisions that shaped their paths. 

Listeners can expect episode topics such as “Exploring Non-Traditional Career Paths,” where guests from unique professions like innovation & entrepreneurship , or remote work will discuss their experiences and opportunities outside the traditional corporate world. 

“Career Exploration 101” episodes will delve into specific fields, offering comprehensive overviews of industries such as finance, technology, healthcare, or marketing. Experts in each respective field will provide insider tips, current trends, and highlight potential career paths within their industry.

“Internship and Job Search Strategies” episodes will provide practical advice on how to stand out in a competitive job market. Topics covered may include resume building, networking techniques, interview preparation, and leveraging online platforms for job hunting. 

Navigating Career Transitions” episodes will focus on individuals who have successfully made career changes or pivots. Guests will share their experiences, lessons learned, and strategies for successfully transitioning into new industries or roles.

“Developing Professional Skill/ Overall Competencies” episodes will explore essential skills needed for career success, such as effective communication, leadership, problem-solving, and adaptability. Experts will provide actionable advice and resources to help students develop these skills.
