Can You Build the Ultimate Broncwich? If You Do, We’ll Send You On A Cruise To The Bahamas!
107.7 The Bronc is slicing things up a little different this semester! We’ve teamed up with Rider Dining Services and Yooo Cuz to find the ultimate sandwich Rider University can call its own.
That’s right…we’re looking to our Rider students, to create an original, signature sandwich that will be served at Muller’s Pub inside Cranberry’s, and by the Yooo Cuz yellow food trailer wherever their adventures may take them!
Be creative! Anything goes with this contest as long as your creation is a sandwich! Wraps, hoagie rolls, pretzel buns, white, wheat, pita and multigrain bread, all sorts of bagels and more are welcome to compete! Your sandwich can be hot, cold, open-face, and served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
Work on those elevator pitches, Broncs! Creating a recipe isn’t the only thing you need to do to get your sandwich featured as the Ultimate Broncwich; you also need to create a 60-second Rider worthy Instagram style video to sell the judges on why you believe you have the ultimate Broncwich! Every video submitted must end with “I’m creating this Broncwich, because I Believe In Rider University.”
If you’re one of the Magnificent 7 sandwiches selected by Rider Dining, 107.7 The Bronc will post your reel to our Instagram @1077TheBronc between April 13 and 19! The three reels with the most views will get to compete in the Build The Ultimate Broncwich Finale on Tuesday, April 28 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., where Rider students, faculty, and staff will taste, rate, and vote for the ultimate Broncwich!
You have from Monday, February 16 to Sunday, April 5 at 11:59 p.m. to submit your ultimate sandwich recipe and Instagram style reel to win a cruise for two to The Bahamas and more! Plus, every Rider student who enters Build The Ultimate Broncwich will receive over $200 in gift cards to local restaurants and events!
The Grand Prize Includes:
- A four day/three night Royal Caribbean cruise for two to The Bahamas courtesy of Josh Harry Travel
- The winning Broncwich featured on the menu at Muller’s Pub starting the 2026-27 academic year.
- The winner’s Ultimate Broncwich creation will also be sold by YoooCuz Yellow Food Trailer at all of their catering events, with a portion of the proceeds from every sale going to the Rider Food Pantry to provide much needed meals for students with food insecurities.
- One hour of catering courtesy of the YoooCuz Yellow Food Trailer at your next on-campus event and more!
