Hey Rider Students! Are you interested in a career in broadcast?
Come and join our team of aspiring broadcast engineers from the comfort of your own campus. As a 107.7 The Bronc engineer, your job is to help broadcast remote events at the station or on location. These can range from various sporting events, expos, festivals, and more! Engineers learn how to broadcast, live on location using a Comrex NX or engineer the broadcast in the studio on our new Wheatstone L-8 and L-12 audio boards.
Learning engineering within the radio industry offers several advantages to your skillset as an aspiring media professional. Gaining knowledge hands-on allows you to understand the unique challenges and technical requirements of broadcasting. This expertise can make you a valuable asset for designing, maintaining, and optimizing radio systems on and off campus. This real-world experience is crucial for troubleshooting issues, implementing new technologies, and ensuring systems operate efficiently.
Engineering Team training is a two-step process. Our student engineering team will train you on all aspects of coordinating and engineering a live event or other remote broadcast, including a thorough shadowing experience.
