The Rider Broncs men’s and women’s basketball teams are determined to defeat their non-conference opponents and, most importantly, their conference rivals by dominating the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, in the paint and from the three-point line, to earn a spot in post-season play. And, 107.7 The Bronc Retro is bringing you all the action!
Once again, our skilled team of student broadcasters will be broadcasting all Rider basketball home and select road games, live this season on The Bronc Retro.
Listen to WRRC2 to hear if the Rider men can repeat last season’s success in the MAAC to find and reach NCAA Basketball’s Holy Grail.
You can also tune into The Bronc Retro to hear if the Rider women can build on last season to climb the MAAC standings and catch lightning in the bottle to take the top spot in the MAAC Conference.

Meet the Men's Basketball Broadcast Team
Ben Shinault (Play-by-Play Announcer)is majoring in Multi-Platform Journalism here at Rider University with a minor in Sports Media. Ben hails from Haddon Heights, New Jersey and is a graduate of Haddon Heights High School. While in high school, Ben assisted with football play-by-play and will be utilizing the skills he learned there as the newest member of the Rider women’s basketball broadcast team. Ben is a former special contributor on 94 WIP, who enjoys writing about baseball and loves to play sports as well. He hopes to bring his passion and energy for sports to the listeners of 107.7 The Bronc.

Kadie DiGiuseppe (Color Analyst) is a Sports Media major from Glassboro NJ. Kadie is the News Director at the station where she is in charge of shows like The Bronc Buzz, The Bronc News Flash, Fun Jersey and Getting Down To Business. In addition to overseeing the shows, she is an anchor for The Bronc News Flash. Aside from 107.7 The Bronc, Kadie is a part of club softball as well as being a member of the Gail Bierenbaum’s Women’s Leadership Council. Kadie is also one of the Sports Editors at The Rider News. When Kadie is not at Rider, she is normally hanging out with her friends, at a Philadelphia sports game, watching TV, listening to music or at the beach.
Joshua Yuhas ’27 (Color Analyst/Social Media) is a transfer student majoring in Sports Media, hailing from Flemington, NJ. Joshua graduated from Hunterdon Central Regional High School, gaining experience as a radio host on 90.5 WCVH, as well as play-by-play and color commentary experience from HCTV. On campus, Joshua hosts a radio show, The Journey Across the Sports World, produces sports reports for The Best Damn Sports Report, and is a sports writer for The Rider News. He is passionate about New York and New Jersey region sports teams. Joshua is excited to join the men’s basketball broadcast team and bring great energy and passion to the listeners of 107.7 The Bronc throughout the season.
Meet the Women's Basketball Broadcast Team
Owen McCarron (Student Chief Engineer and Play-by-Play Announcer) is a Radio and Podcasting major with a minor in Sports Media and has been a part of The Bronc since the Fall of 2022. During his time at The Bronc, he held multiple positions, ranging from host of Wake-Up Rider to Color Commentator for the Riders division 1 women’s basketball team, former promotions director, and now two-time Student Chief Engineer. Being a part of The Bronc has exposed him to a whole new world of opportunities and many different people who have helped him grow professionally and socially at Rider University.

Andrew Heckler ’29 (Color Analyst/Social Media) is a sports media major, coming from Toms River N.J. Andrew graduated from Toms River High School East, getting experience commentating on football and basketball games for TRSTV (Toms River Schools TV). Andrew is passionate about golf as he tries to play at least 2-3 times a week. Andrew is also a diehard New York Giants fan ever since he was born. Andrew is excited to gain experience and show what he’s got at 107.7 The Bronc.
