Okay Kai Cenat …

Okay Kai Cenat …

By: Lathan “Laytin” Gil

The Streamer University CEO and S-Tier livestreamer, Kai Cenat is in some hot water recently because of some allegations made by fellow streamer Reggie …

Who Are These People?

Reggie and Kai Cenat are connected via The Clover Boys, a streaming group that collaborates and works together to help each other’s content get bigger. (Literally exactly like Team 10 ten years ago).

Reggie ended up leaving The Clover Boys after feeling left out and overlooked by Kai and believing Kai didn’t help him out or give him any attention or support, as Kai was the most famous one out of all of them. Reggie wanted to grow as an individual content creator by this point.

What Did Reggie Say About Kai??

Recently, Reggie had a live stream where he was talking about his mental health and his childhood. While discussing the traumatic experiences from his childhood with family members, he claimed that Kai Cenat’s cousin, RaKai went through the same thing with some current members of Kai’s crew, and Kai knew about it happening and wasn’t doing anything.

RaKai’s response …

Since then, RaKai has come out and denied it all.. Kai however, hasn’t denied anything, and in his live stream addressing Reggie’s claims, all he had to say was “How could you do this to me? After all I’ve done for you.”

I interviewed a live streamer connoisseur here at Rider University, Idris Toles ‘28 and he thinks it could be a money thing. “I don’t want to say that a victim could be lying, but Reggie isn’t as big as Kai. This could be a way to try to get a payout from him.”

Money Is The Route of All Evil.

Since Reggie made these claims, a FaceTime call was leaked where Reggie was caught saying, “We’re gonna take all of Kai’s money with this.”

Kai Cenat has threatened legal action against Reggie. Actually saying, “You’re gonna wake up tomorrow with a call from my lawyer. Get your lawyers ready.” But the current state of legal action is unknown.

What Do You Think?

The common discourse amongst the online community is really 50/50. Half of the people believe Reggie, while the other half feel he’s lying. Idris Toles however says his stance on it places everyone in the wrong. “I feel like what Reggie said about RaKai is true. When you’re young and exposed to the entertainment industry, if you don’t have people protecting you then you could get hurt. Especially if you are a kid. But I also feel like Reggie is in the wrong and/or exclaiming certain parts of the story that aren’t necessarily 100% true. They’re both wrong though.”

The Streamer University CEO Kai Cenat has been receiving allegations that he has been selling his soul for a while. In early 2026, the streamer announced he was going on a hiatus. After a few months he came back with Streamer University and a few watchers said he looked and felt different. “He lost some of his personality. He looked more tired, not as energetic, and not happy. I believe he sold his soul to get bigger. He was already big before 2026. But there is a big difference between who Kai was a year ago vs now.” Idris Toles told me during our interview.

Where Are We Now?

Since making these allegations, multiple live streamers have started unfollowing Reggie. It was also reported that streamers Fanum and Plaqueboymax reached out to Reggie with their support. This situation could last for months. But with the current state of it all, it’s not looking too good for Kai Cenat.
