107.7 The Bronc presents our annual Scream Screen Blood Drive, this year in partnership with New Jersey Blood Services, on Wednesday, October 28, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Just in case you miss Day One of the drive, you can also donate blood on Thursday, October 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both days of the drive are located in the Cavalla Room on the first floor of the BLC
Everyone who attempts to donate blood will receive a pair of 90-minute jump passes to Sky Zone in Hamilton! One lucky student blood donor will be selected at random to win a $200 Visa gift card. Yeah, you heard us right…anyone who attempts to donate blood or does donate blood is eligible for the grand prize!

Common misconceptions about blood donation:
- “My iron is too low.” A quick on-campus, protein-packed snack from Cran’s can fix that.
- “I have tattoos.” Three months after any tattoo procedure, you’re good to go!
- “I’m worried it’ll take too long.” Typically blood donations can be done within 10-15 minutes.
- “It’s gonna hurt!” Beyond the pinch of the needle, you’re good to go. Experts compare the sensation to a quick pinch.
